If you were to ask Cari about her story, she would most likely say, "Oh there's not much to tell." Never an athlete in school, or college Cari might be considered a "late bloomer" in her fitness journey. This is exactly why Cari firmly believes that anyone can start at any time because that is exactly what she did.
A mother of two, her fitness journey started because of them. If you're a parent you know all too well that it can be tough, and life moves really fast. Feeling like her health was becoming a concern and wanting to set a good example for her children, Cari joined the local YMCA.
Quickly falling in love with the group fitness programs, Cari soon realized it wasn't just the physical health improvements, but the mental as well. Soon an opening became available to make the jump to a fitness instructor through the MOSSA Programs and Cari was on her way to her 1st fitness goal.
But it didn't stop there.
Soon after the pandemic shut everything down, Cari focused on her Personal Trainers Certification and passed with flying colors. From there she hasn't stopped learning about her craft. From TRX Certification to her most recent Barbell Rehab Method, Cari has fallen in love with Strength Training. "The Barbell is your friend," she says and if you use it properly you'll be up and moving well into your senior years.
